Pav Bhaji Roll & Aloo Roll Recipe

First of all let’s see how to make the first one Aloo Tiffin Roll. Here, I’ve taken boiled potatoes, Along with that I have some carrots, green peas, boiled cauliflower, green beans & capsicum. All these veggies will go in the Aloo roll. This one will have lots of veggies.

So, take a chopper, to this add 1/2 a carrot, 1/4th cup boiled green peas, 1/4th cup boiled cauliflower, 1/4th cup French beans, & 1/2 cup capsicum. Add everything & then using the chopper chop it coarsely. If you don’t have a chopper then you can also use a knife to chop everything. You can see how nicely I’ve coarsely chopped all the veggies. Now, let’s cook the filling.

Take 1 tbsp oil in a vessel. Now, add 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 green chilli. This is optional if you don’t want to make it spicy. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, & add a pinch of asafoetida to it, Just stir it for 30 seconds & cook it nicely. Now, add the chopped veggies to this. & add salt to taste, Stir & cook the vegetables for 2-3 minutes.

Now, I’m roughly crushing 4 medium sized potatoes to this. & 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, a little chopped coriander leaves, & add 1 tsp lemon juice & mix everything very nicely. I’m using a potato masher here to help everything mash & incorporate & combine together nicely. & cook this mixture for 2-3 minutes. You can see everything is mashed together well.

Taste & adjust the seasoning as per your taste. & you can see that our Aloo filling with loads of veggies is ready. Transfer this filling to a bowl & let it cool down nicely. Once the filling has cooled down, then take a portion from it like this. Taking a portion like this, give it a shape of a patty like this. After shaping it like a patty, add 1 tbsp butter to a pan, Now, add a patty & roast it lightly from both sides. & our patty is nicely roasted.

Now, in the same pan add our roti. With the leftover butter, our roti will get roasted nicely. & cook it nicely from both sides while flipping it over. Our chapati is also warmed up. Now, add some ketchup on the chapati, Add slight amount of red chilli sauce. This is optional. Spread it nicely. Now place the patty on top. Grate some cheese on the patty & add.
